The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum strives to continue the mission of its founder, Jim Gatchell, of helping to preserve the history of the Johnson County area, with a main focus on the exciting frontier era. The museum is located east of the Family Medical Center, near Prosinski Park. The museum's front lawn boasts a collection of antique covered wagons, while the interior holds a rare military weapon display, as well as information regarding the short-lived Fort Kearny.
Open April - October Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Children (6-16) $3; Children 6 and under are Free
